Careers Talk from IBM
  When:  Monday, Week 13 (22/10/2007)

  Time:  4-5pm

  Where: Seminar Room 113, Level 1, K17 Computer Science Building

  What:  Careers Talk about work experiences, technologies used,
         projects graduates move into, etc.

This is open to all CSE students, and remember it's free.

Light refreshments will be provided.

Career Workshop for CSE Student
When: Week 8, 2-3pm, Thursday 26th April
Where: K17 Seminar Room Level 1
Topic: Job Searching Approaches & Selling Yourself to Employers.

Gain skills!, Gain understanding! Gain knowledge!
- Understand what skills and attributes Employers are looking for in CSE graduates
- Learn about effective job searching approaches
- Learn how to sell yourself effectively to prospective employers through networking and interviews.

This workshop is relevant for both upcoming graduates and undergraduates.
Think of all those graduate/intern interviews!
 
ACM First Year Programming Competition

$50 1st place, $30 2nd place, $20 3rd place.
Up to groups of 3 people. Solo or pairs if you want. Come to registration if unsure, all can be figured out!
